Description
Clary Sage pure essential oil can be used during labour for mild analgesia, helping with breathing, calming and a contraction stimulant.
Clary Sage can promote relaxation and pain relief during labour. It may induce contractions and stimulates the release of oxytocin on pregnant women.
You can dilute it in a carrier oil and apply to the skin over the reproductive organs, and acupressure points in the legs and feet, or use in a oil burner, or soak a cotton wool ball and place it close to where you are labouring.
You can also use clary sage pure essential oil after your labour to help reduce painful periods, or during menopause for symptoms of hot flushes, headaches and sweating. Clary sage helps with nervousness, fear and depression.
Clary sage pure essential oil blends well with bergamot, cedar wood, chamomile, frankincense, neroli, orange, sandalwood and ylang ylang.
