Description
Using Peri Balm to massage your perineum in the last 6-8 weeks of pregnancy can help to stretch and condition the perineum in preparation for childbirth. This can help reduce the risk of perineal tearing or an episiotomy during labour. It also encourages you to grow familiar with the sensations associated with the baby’s head crowning.
This gorgeous blend by Essenture contains beeswax, apricot kernel oil, vitamin E and pure essential oils of true lavender and geranium.
Directions: When the balm makes contact with the skin it instantly melts to form an easy-to-apply lubricant. Massage perineum for 5 minutes daily during the third trimester. Dispense with applicator provided. You should also consult your local midwife and/or obstetrician. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
Natural Ingredients: Beeswax, apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil, calendula infused oil, vitamin E, pure essential oils of true lavender and geranium
